Rooftop lounges are all the rage and Le Toit is now an ultra-hip member of that movement. Perched above the Eden Property Premier Hotel in Tel Aviv’s Yemenite Vineyard, this minimalist hot spot close to the beach was envisioned by interior designer, Oron Milshtein, and feels extremely a lot like a South Beach destination.
With a vibrant green carpet of grass, this sky bar is resplendent–by day or night–in bold white. A custom-created sofa elegantly stretches across the entirety of the lounge becoming a relaxing oasis on balmy evenings. This 49-foot modular seating seems to be created from a creamy silken textile, however is–surprisingly–a high-tech, weather-resistant fabric.
Illuminated cocktail tables and decorative pillows depicting flowering birds-of-paradise add a refined tropical element to this breezy modern space. The collection of faceted ‘Stone’ stools by the amazing Dutch designer, Marcel Wanders, accents this rooftop space as lead crystal glasses would a fine dining table. Smitten!
The bar itself is one more region of splendor which is lighted with such mindful, artistic precision you may possibly forget you’re there to basically enjoy a cocktail under the stars. Mid-century modern mesh chrome chairs are tucked into the white slab bar which glows discreetly from underneath. The quilted-look wall is luminous, playing a warm pink back-drop to the dramatic linear arrangement of colorful liquor and wine bottles. In the center is Le Toit’s logo in black-and-white, a sophisticated focal point. A white awning and oversize planters preside over this space which is the epicenter of socializing for the young, lively crowd who goes there.
A modern hotel lounge, Le Toit at the Eden Residence Premier is a chic rooftop space evoking tasteful design fused with a chill energy.
